In repainting the interior of your home, I am sure you have entertained a lot of good ideas. Ideas about different color combinations that would remind you of something close to your heart. Or color combination concepts that might blend well with something that you already have in your home or something that you might be about to purchase. If I am to guess, those concepts do not have this simple and very basic color combination that I have in mind to offer you: A Black and White color combination.
The combination of black and white colors as a color theme of your home interior is something that can provide a sense of practical and solid appreciation of a sophisticated way of life. If complimented with a minimalist form of interior presentation, it would give an effect of a stylish and spacious way of modern living. High sophistication usually is embodied in black – shining black. Like chrome black furniture, shiny steel black dividers, and chrome black glittering hanging lamps.
Painting your rooms white will certainly make them looking fresh and neat, affording you and your family members to have a sense of clean living. In contrast to the white color of the rooms, you can have your furniture done in jet black colors like placing a jet black leather coach in the room, black colored desk and chairs and computers. Top this off with a chrome black king size bed in black silky bed sheets with gold emblazoned stitching and I would certainly say that your home is done in the most appropriate way of using the
theme of black and white.
The floors on the other hand can have so many way of making good use of the black and white color combination. The first and most basic will be the cheeseboard design. These of course will the simplest way because it will be an alternate of black and white square boards replicating the chessboard. If your house is designed with a colonial touch, this will be the right flooring for you. But for interiors whose décor will be done in the sleek and high fashion way, a subdued glimmer of white in a prevalent black mosaic tiles will be more fitting. Other modernistic forms of flooring would be materials like marble tiles done in charcoal gray and jet black tiles with gold and white trimmings.
Your walls having been painted in white will have that look of sophistication by displaying modernistic art forms in a huge canvass with black frames. This would be placed hanging with a jet black leather lounge or sofa under it. I would suggest modernistic art done in a white background and with the art painted in shades of orange, green and black. This will be a good compliment to the over all color theme of your interior. its theme. There are many furniture and even paintings and draperies that can
enhance more the black and white color theme of your home.
